The Construction Products Regulation defines four types of economic operators who are responsible for ensuring that construction products covered by a harmonised standard or a European Technical Assessment (ETA) are provided with the statutory declaration of performance and a CE mark. The four types of economic operators are manufacturers, importers, distributors and authorised representatives.
