Directive
|

Distributor

Any natural or legal person in the supply chain who makes a construction product available on the market. This includes all retailers, wholesalers, and similar entities that buy and sell construction products within the EU/EEA. |
DoP
|
Declaration of Performance. The DoP is the basis for the CE marking. It contains all the information about the manufacturer, the construction product, and its performance, while the CE marking itself provides a summary. |
DS
|
Dansk Standard (Danish Standard). DS implements European standards and, in some cases, translates European standards into Danish. The Danish translation is referred to as DS/EN. |
EOTA
|
European Organisation for Technical Assessment. It provides technical assessments and issues European Technical Assessments (ETAs) for products or construction systems not covered by harmonized standards. |
ETA
|
European Technical Assessment. ETAs are voluntary and can be issued for specific products or construction systems from a specific manufacturer when they are not covered by a harmonized standard. The ETA serves as the basis for the manufacturer to affix the CE marking and is issued based on an EAD. |
EEA
